Xenon Side Skirt Install | ![]() |
|
I did this complete install in my garage, including paint. I am an experienced bodyman. The install is fairly easy, you just need to take your time. |

Ready for paint I did a 400 wet thoroughly, then hit every nook and edge with a scotchbrite pad. |
| Basecoat It took 4 coats to cover. I use PPG products. |

Clearcoat I used 3 coats of clear on this particular application. |
|
Install Turn the front wheel outwards and drill 2 holes. You need to put double sided tape on the back of the skirts to adhere them to the rocker panels and the face of the fender and quarter panel. |

Take rear wheel off and drill for 2 screws in the back. I jacked the entire side of the car up so it would be level. This provided a better "eye" for me when I was leveling out the skirts in relation to the rocker panels and doors. |
|
Done! I am very happy with the results here. Makes the car look even lower to the ground. A pain to slide a jack under now without playing with it, but it was worth it for the results. |
